- Always maintain safety and security of aircraft.
- Must prepare appropriate documentation for flight handling.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- The Loadmaster on occasion may lift or move with help up to 70 pounds, and/or more frequently lift or move 70 to 100 pounds.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the agent is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Provides timely updates to customer and management.
- Monitors movements of Customer aircraft to ensure timely and correct arrival.
- Provides leadership as aircraft is being loaded and/or unloaded in a safe and efficient manner.
- Oversees and monitors loading and unloading of aircraft.
- Communicates with multiple department personnel regarding aircraft readiness and positions.
- Ensures that the load is properly secured.
- Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- High School graduate or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous CAT 10 Dangerous goods training.
- Language Skills:
- Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
- Reasoning Abilities:
- Flight crew and customer relationship skills a must.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Math skills:
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds comfortably. Must be able to perform weight and balance procedures
- Must be willing to work occasionally in inclement weather.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
- Hearing protection is required and provided.
- Prior experience with Korean Air Cargo Systems and Procedures.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of fundamental flight operations services and procedures for handling cargo flights.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
- The agent is frequently required to climb stairs, bend at the waist, kneel, crouch or stoop.
- The Loadmaster may be required to climb, sit, and balance.
- Loadmaster is regularly required to use hands, talk, hear, bend, stoop, kneel, and is frequently required to stand, walk and move for prolonged periods of time while performing duties.
- Able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.
- Speak effectively one-to-one and before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- The Loadmaster is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and required to work in active taxiway and ramp areas with associated noises and hazards with aircraft handling.
- Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history and pre-employment drug test.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to read flight plan activity.
- Must be able to obtain airport badge with US Customs clearance.
- Previous Airline Experience with Flight operations duties and Weight and Balance functions.
- Verifies the flight crew has easy access from cockpit to the rear of aircraft following the completion of the load.
