Responsible for the startup of simple to complex HVAC systems
Take initiative and responsibility for the checkout of end devices, module configuration, and troubleshooting network related issues
Communicate with jobsite personnel from other trades to complete project objectives
Works with commissioning agent to demonstrate system functionality
Maintain field markups and coordinate field markups from lower-level techs
Mentors and set a good example for less experienced technicians
Perform necessary database tasks such as backups, troubleshooting and exporting of files
Safely perform point-to-point checkout per department standards, e.g., use multimeter to check continuity and/or resistance of sensors, verifying sensors with calibrated meters
Mentor lower-level technicians to maintain these standards
Communicate technical issues to management, project managers and/or more senior level technicians
Creates thorough daily reports

Experience in high-availability environments like data centers, hospitals, or government facilities
Equivalent experience, vocational school, or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field is preferred.
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required. Allen Bradley preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation
Prior experience with commercial control systems such as Automated Logic, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell preferred.
