Senior Mechanical Engineer

Description

• Assume the mechanical lead on many projects
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
• Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule
• Coordinate the work of mechanical engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development
• Work with the Project Manager, Regional Controller and Regional Director for project reviews with corporate management as needed
• Establish client relations, and participate in marketing, design and production meetings with regard to mechanical systems
• Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplines
• Track the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work efforts with the team to ensure that work is completed within the parameters of the agreedupon schedule

Requirements

• Revit MEP experience preferred
• Commercial/institutional experience in healthcare, technology/data centers, and/or waterwastewater preferred
• Computer experience utilizing MS Office, IESVE, Trane TRACE, or similar manufacturer selection software
• Master’s degree or other advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with mechanical emphasis
• Experience and/or interest in sustainable design, LEED, desired but not required
