The role requires a strong technical background and a hands‑on project delivery mindset to develop creative solutions and produce contract documents. You will lead teams, manage designs, conduct inspections and analyses, and coordinate with clients, contractors and project partners while supporting project planning, budgeting and staffing.
- M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 9+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel structures.
- Knowledge of ASCE 61 and PIANC Seismic Design of Port Structures guidelines (plus).
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the U.S. or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months.
- Strong independent and team work capability.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication; Spanish a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel, including overnight and international trips.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report.
