Ensures PMs work with Operational/Group/Design Leaders for assignment of appropriate staff to projects
Ensures adherence and cultivates a culture to HSE requirements for all projects in their portfolio and aligned PMs to keep our staff, contractors, clients and adjacent personnel and property safe
Attends Administrative Project Reviews (APRs) as required to discuss projects within their portfolio meeting the APR thresholds
Ensures that differentiating solutions and technologies are applied to pursuits and projects to win and deliver outstanding projects
Works with PMs for operational sales with existing clients to provide ‘One Jacobs’ for gap closure
Monitors accounts receivable (AR) and unbilled revenue and works with PMs to address issues as needed
Assists the PM and Client Account Managers (CAMs) with client management and satisfaction leading to growth of business with Client
Manages, coaches and provides skill and career development for aligned PMs and front-line delivery management
Conducts monthly Operational Project Reviews (OPRs) on all projects and publishes the project review report with critical issues and actions
Assist with proposal writing and team composition development
Fosters and Supports the Jacobs Beyond Zero safety culture with Jacobs staff, client staff, consultants, and contractors
Ensures compliance with all Project Execution Group and Quality policies, procedures, protocols and work instructions and appropriate use of all mandated project tools
Reviews monthly accuracy of Estimate-to-Complete (ETC) and Estimate-at Completion (EAC) and addresses variances or issues with PMs
Drives team to provide outstanding service and solutions to Clients
Work with Regional Management, Program Director(s) and project financial team for Business Plan Forecast, ensuring that Project ETCs are forecasted accurately
Reviews, approves and ensures ongoing update and management of the Project Risk Register/Mitigation Plan, Project Execution Plan and the Project Quality Plan
Keeps Global and Regional Management and Director(s) of Programs informed of and engaged in critical project issues and developments
Oversees talent engagement of aligned PMs
Manages performance of designers, vendors and subcontractors by utilizing the skills and knowledge of our project managers and support teams
Works with operational sales and CAMS for new client engagement; new business development
Supports career development of PMs through the Project Manager Advancement Program (PMAP)
Develops and/or supports the development of, reviews and approves proposal/pricing, schedules and risk reserves. Engages Management, Program Director(s), legal, contracts and compliance in the review and approval process
Ensures adherence to the Quality Plan including Expectation Surveys, Satisfaction Surveys, checks of deliverables and audits of the QC process
Drives the delivery of budgeted GM for a portfolio of projects and aligned PMs. Enhances GM results through focus on change management, cash management and delivery of high quality, value added services to our clients
Ensures succession plans are in place for individuals in key roles and recommends hiring and terminations of PMs in coordination with others

Bachelor’s degree In Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management required. Exceptions given based on years of experience performing related tasks.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred.

Must have a base understanding of the suite of programs in Microsoft Office
HSE performance of projects in their portfolio
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
Minimum 10 years successfully (and directly) managing profit and loss for multiple projects
Advanced knowledge and experience of project management and construction management processes, means and methods required.

Must be available for travel from home base for project oversight and for business development
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards preferred.
Must possess soft skills in resolving personnel issues as well as client concerns coupled with technical knowledge of the project and / or the construction delivery method
