Conduct regular project inspections and advise project supervision of work progress, quality of work and safety conditions requiring attention
Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and client/owner representatives to isolate project problems and assist in developing solutions
Supervise the development of project schedules and monitor production to assure timely project completion
Monitor project purchasing activities to assure quality material and timely delivery at competitive costs
Establish project labor requirements and review the requirements with district and/or divisional management
Manage field construction, maintenance, engineering, and other field project support activities
Determine the necessity of construction equipment and assure equipment is properly maintained
Regularly conduct safety meetings and aid supervision in addressing areas and conditions requiring attention. Continually monitor project to assure adherence to company and regulatory procedures
Review cost reports and perform analysis to assist in reducing costs and maintaining productivity
Coordinate work with subcontractors to ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and specifications. Administer project policies and procedures to subcontractors

Physical demands: Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting. Will talk and hear to communicate. Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull objects, materials, controls, and tools. May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 25lbs. Will occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms. Will use vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception and peripheral vision. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.
