Key accountabilities include end‑to‑end roadway design delivery, managing technical aspects of complex tasks, and meeting financial, quality, schedule, and health‑and‑safety objectives. The engineer will coordinate across multiple offices and locations, prepare and finalise drawings, compute quantities, generate design reports, and coach and mentor team members.
The Principal Engineer (Roadway Design – NA Infra) will lead design and 3D modelling for Design‑Build and State Department of Transportation projects, using a range of Bentley tools. The role requires experience as a Task Manager, having led a project team of at least four members on D&B projects, and a background in concept, alternative technical, and detailed design, as well as construction support.
Candidates must hold a B.E./BTech in Civil Engineering (mandatory) and preferably a master’s in Transportation Engineering. Minimum requirements are 10 + years of design‑consulting experience, at least 7 + years on international projects, and 2 + years on US projects, with strong knowledge of AASHTO and DOT specifications, MicroStation, OpenRoads, and Bentley software.
