Payroll Analyst

We're looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our HR Shared Services team - someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive mindset and takes pride in making complex things run smoothly. In this role, you'll be at the centre of our payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring every cycle is delivered accurately, on time, and in full compliance with legislation.

Requirements

• Experience with HR or payroll-related platforms (e.g., Workday, TMF)
• Multi-country payroll is delivered with precision and consistency.
• Hands-on experience with New Zealand payroll legislation.
• 3+ years' experience in payroll administration and operations, ideally in a multi-country or high-volume environment.
• Involvement in automation, documentation, or payroll process optimisation.
• Exceptional attention to detail with confidence handling employee data and complex calculations.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (Awards, superannuation, PAYG).
• A process-oriented mindset with a track record of driving improvements.
• Resilience in fast-moving, ambiguous environments - able to create clarity and structure.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Payroll operations are continuously refined, with smarter processes and standardisation driving efficiency.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• Data across systems is accurate, reconciled, and reliable.
• Familiarity with external vendor management in an outsourced or co-sourced payroll model.
