Working with the QLD State Lead and the APAC Technical Discipline manager to assist in the development and implementation of team business plans and strategies
Delivering clear and precise, high-quality reports
Providing advice regarding best practice environmental impact assessment and management principles to clients and internal SLR team members
Working with the Talent Acquisition team and the State lead on reviewing applications, interviewing and selecting new talent into the team.
Operational day to day team management including team timesheet approvals, team workload and resourcing and, individual team member management
Working within and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across a range of sectors
Developing, facilitating and enhancing effective relationships with our clients and internal SLR team members, particularly, across other technical disciplines
Team performance management and career development discussions and management
Experience in the mining, linear infrastructure or power sectors
Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
Ability to win work through business development and demonstrated client management expertise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 10 years' experience in environmental impact assessment and consulting
Proven people management will be highly regarded but we will also consider exceptional consultants ready to step up into management.
A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field
Demonstrated knowledge of QLD & Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies, standards and guidelines
