As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the transition to SAP SuccessFactors Story reporting, modernizing HR analytics and reporting capabilities. You will assess the current reporting landscape, document data dependencies, and develop optimized Story reports that deliver accurate, consistent, actionable insights. Collaboration with IT partners, BI developers, data architects, and HR business partners is essential to clarify requirements, validate outputs, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
You will help shape a roadmap that optimizes SuccessFactors reporting alongside the emerging data platform, supporting the shift from legacy tools and redeveloping existing reports to address critical HR analytics needs. The role covers the full reporting lifecycle—from requirements gathering and gap analysis to prototyping, UAT, deployment, and post‑implementation support—while contributing to governance standards, data quality practices, and long‑term sustainability.
- Lead redevelopment and migration of HR reports to SAP SuccessFactors Story, including data mapping, prototyping, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with IT, BI developers, data architects, and HR business partners to define reporting requirements, validate data flows, and ensure high-quality outputs.
- Translate complex HR business needs into clear technical specifications, reporting logic, and design documentation.
- Analyze existing reporting assets, document data dependencies, and recommend improvements aligned with future-state analytics and governance standards.
- Provide advanced technical support across SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM (On‑Premise), and SAP BusinessObjects, including troubleshooting and data validation.
- Develop and maintain documentation, reporting standards, and governance practices to support report lifecycle management and long‑term adoption.
- Support end‑user readiness through training, knowledge transfer, and change‑management activities related to Story reporting.

The successful candidate possesses deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors data structures and reporting tools, hands‑on configuration experience, and a strong background in developing technical documentation and performing data quality activities. Professional certifications, robust UAT experience, project management and consulting skills, and a bachelor's degree in a related field are required, along with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
- Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors data structures, including EC, RCM and MDF relationships, with experience using the OData API Dictionary and API endpoints.
- Technical development experience with SAP SuccessFactors reporting tools, including Story, Canvas, and Integration Center.
- Hands‑on configuration experience in SuccessFactors, including Manage Data, Configure Object Definitions, Manage Business Configuration, and related admin tools.
- Demonstrated experience developing technical documentation such as functional specifications, data mappings, transformation logic, data flow diagrams, ERDs, and user guides.
- Experience conducting complex HR master data analysis, data validation, and quality assurance activities.
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications in Employee Central, Reporting, Recruiting, or related modules are considered strong assets.
- Strong User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience, including test case development, output validation, and defect management.
- Proven project management and consulting skills with experience managing stakeholders, negotiating timelines, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Working knowledge of SuccessFactors Role‑Based Permissions (RBP) and security best practices.
- Experience with SAP HCM On‑Premise configuration is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of HR business processes and policies, with prior HR experience considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
