What you would be doing
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines and observability frameworks to support high-quality, reliable deployments.
- Perform root cause analysis and failure investigations to improve system resilience and performance.
- Generate intellectual property and contribute to publications that support business innovation.
- Present technical updates and project status to senior leadership, including Directors of Engineering.
- Lead process improvement initiatives across engineering teams and sites, promoting DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.
- Drive DevOps strategy across multiple AI projects, aligning with business goals and technical requirements.
- Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet real-world needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of innovation, learning, and technical excellence.
- Logging and monitoring infrastructure setup.
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and external trends into relevant projects.
What you bring
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- 5-8+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering with demonstrated leadership in complex technical projects.
- Containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Azure Cloud provisioning, networking, and scaling.
- Advanced problem-solving and process management capabilities.
- Strong command of Git and GitHub workflows.
- Greenbelt certified or equivalent experience in DFSS/Lean methodologies.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Experience managing requirements, trade-offs, and customer interactions.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation leadership in technical domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices (GitHub Actions preferred).
