The millwright will provide essential mechanical and technical support to the production line, aiming to improve efficiency and product quality. Responsibilities include conducting repairs, replacements, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic and bearing systems, and interpreting drawings, schematics and blueprints for installations and repairs.
- Perform mechanical, preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and bearing systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and blueprints.
- Replace components and install new equipment to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors while maintaining a personal set of quality tools.

Candidates must hold a valid Ontario Millwright License (433A), have at least a Grade 12 education with post‑secondary mechanical or technical training, and possess a minimum of five years of heavy‑industrial experience or completion of an apprenticeship in Canada. Additional assets include a college degree, strong reading of engineering drawings, the ability to work independently, willingness to take overtime on short notice, and a personal set of quality tools.
- Hold a valid Ontario Millwright License (433A) and at least five years of heavy‑industrial experience.
- Have a high school diploma with post‑secondary mechanical or technical training; apprenticeship or college degree is a plus.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and respond to overtime calls on short notice.
