Description

• Conducting presentations to model home visitors and demonstrating the amenities of the community.
• Proactively following up on leads.
• Representing Hakes Brothers at a model home and any sponsored/hosted events.
• Utilizing CRM to the fullest ability to prospect and manage buyer leads.
• Preparing required paperwork for each home sale and for prospective purchasers.
• Ensuring that every Hakes Brothers home buyer has an excellent experience purchasing a new home.
• Conducting monthly or quarterly competitor market analysis (as applicable).
• Routine installation of community signage
• Communicating with the buyer regarding construction start and completion dates; remaining actively involved in the sales process through closing.
• Generating and fostering leads and prospects with realtors, customer referrals and potential buyers.
• Daily relationship building with realtors to promote Hakes Brothers and weekly visits to realty offices for presentations.
• Maintaining promotional signage in and around your assigned community.
• Attending sales meetings and quarterly luncheons.
• Promoting Hakes Brothers by listing inventory homes on the MLS, sending e-mail blasts, distributing flyers around your community, hosting model home grand openings and community/sponsored events.

You must have an ownership mentality and be creative with sales solutions while keeping up with the competition and their offerings.

Hakes Brothers builds luxury homes with high-end finishes at competitive prices, which helps us stand out among our homebuilding peers. We are seeking a seasoned new home sales professional who understands how to sell high-end value versus selling discounts and incentives. The candidate must be skilled at selling "to be builts" and not just late-stage specs.

• Preferred: At least two years' New Home Sales experience
• Have excellent proficiency with both the contract and the product
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (eg: mistakes in contract writing are few and far between)
• Has a demonstrated ability with various sales and closing techniques to advance a sale
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, occasionally
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Using honesty and integrity in all representations and negotiations while abiding by the parameters approved by Hakes Brothers.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
• Thorough and technical understanding of products to be sold
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Required: High School diploma or GED
• Required: At least two years' relevant experience in Sales (preferably commission-based)
• Becoming proficient in sales strategies, including prospecting, product knowledge, competitor knowledge and sales techniques.
