Your essential responsibilities include developing and conducting hazard assessments and focus audits, reporting findings, and verifying corrective actions. You provide on‑site guidance to operations management for implementing HS&E programs, addressing emergency response, performance metrics, and safety systems. You mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors, collect and analyse safety data to recommend improvements, and lead complex incident investigations while training teams on best practices. Additionally, you support supervisors in managing occupational injuries and illnesses and oversee return‑to‑work processes.
Candidates should have at least one year of practical HS&E experience, preferably in telecommunications, and formal occupational health and safety education is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to communicate persuasively with stakeholders at all project levels are required. Applicants must also meet pre‑access requirements, including a clean driver’s abstract, drug screen, and breathalyzer.
The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility for remote work combined with travel to various Ledcor sites. Travel may account for 50–75% of the time, covering different offices and project locations.
