You will be the face of the UK business, partnering closely with the Head of Technical Operations UK to lead the successful delivery and expansion of EV charging infrastructure across the region. Your core responsibility is to oversee programmes, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive the commercial and operational growth of the UK market.
My client is hiring a dynamic and hands-on leader to become the primary UK representative for a growing international EV charging business. As Country Manager UK, you will guide delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term operational success across a network of fleet and transport locations.
- Coordinate with installation partners, contractors, and service providers
- Analyse performance data to identify improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure operational commitments and SLAs are met
- A senior, autonomous role representing UK operations for an international clean-tech business
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with operations teams and senior stakeholders
- Influence the transition to sustainable transport and large-scale fleet electrification
- Feed UK insights into global operations and best-practice development
- Work cross-functionally with remote engineering teams to standardise processes
- Oversee the rollout and delivery of EV charging programmes across multiple customer sites
- Act as the primary point of contact for fleet, transport, and depot-based customers
- Represent the business at industry events, meetings, and commercial discussions
- Support troubleshooting and escalate technical challenges when needed
- Maintain compliance, safety, and operational standards across all UK locations
- Support the onboarding of new sites and partnerships across the UK
- Identify opportunities to expand infrastructure with existing and new customers
- Maintain accurate documentation, project records, and operational compliance
- Ensure infrastructure is installed, configured, and operating effectively (DC charging experience desirable)
- Build productive relationships with suppliers, installation partners, and service providers
- Provide consistent on-site leadership and visibility at customer facilities

Frequent travel will be required across London and the South East, as you represent the UK business on-site with customers, partners, and depot teams.
You will blend operational oversight, partnership management, and programme delivery to ensure high-quality, reliable charging infrastructure. This position suits someone who enjoys being close to the operation, building strong relationships, and supporting the scaling of a fast-moving clean-tech business.
This role is ideal for someone who has overseen complex infrastructure or technology programmes, scaled operational environments, and is comfortable working across multiple customer sites. Experience in EV charging or DC systems is an advantage with a focus on operational leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver.
Location: London / South East (must live within 30–60 minutes of key depot locations)
- Background in operations, programme delivery, or technical partnerships
- Communicate clearly on performance, service levels, and programme updates
- Background in delivering complex operational, infrastructure, or technology programmes
- Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
- Experience in a scale-up, SME, or fast-paced technical environment is a plus
- Comfortable working in varied environments including depots, customer sites, and field locations
- Commercially astute with experience influencing or negotiating operational outcomes
- Experience scaling services or programmes across multiple sites
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently
- Ability to manage contractors, suppliers, and delivery partners
- Must be based within 30–60 minutes of key depot locations in the London / South East region
- Understanding of EV charging, energy systems, or DC charging
- Right to work in the UK
