As a User Experience Content Design Intern at Autodesk, you will develop UI copy and content strategy focused on usability, accessibility, and effectiveness. You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, software developers, and other teams to create compelling, frictionless content experiences that build loyalty and drive business impact.
Key responsibilities include creating content strategy and UX copy for specific features, developing user tests that evaluate microcopy effectiveness, conducting competitive analyses to identify industry terminology, auditing workflows and customer communications for consistent terminology, and experimenting with new tools and technologies such as AI.
Candidates must be currently enrolled full‑time in a degree‑seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2027, demonstrate excellent writing that is succinct, clear, and engaging, and understand how content, tone, and voice affect product usability. Knowledge of customer journeys and the ability to identify content touch‑point opportunities is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Figma or other design tools, a portfolio that showcases integration of copy and design, and hands‑on knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research and analysis.
The 2026 U.S. internship runs for 12 weeks (May 18 – August 7 or June 15 – September 4) and is paid, offering mentorship, tech talks, and a flexible workplace that supports office, remote, or hybrid arrangements. The Canada program runs for 16 weeks across winter (Jan 5 – April 24) and summer (May 4 – August 21) terms, also paid and structured with similar development opportunities and flexible work options.
Autodesk’s culture emphasizes belonging, innovation, and making a positive impact on the world through software that enables greener buildings, cleaner cars, smarter factories, and creative media. The company offers competitive compensation, diversity and belonging initiatives, and invites candidates to join the talent community for updates.
