The consultant will implement MRI’s Angus application and provide consulting services to new and existing clients across North America. With 2–3 years of business experience, the hire will grow into a subject‑matter expert, leading discussions and recommendations. The position is billable, requiring time tracking and utilization metrics. The consultant will also train clients on best‑practice use of MRI applications.
Key responsibilities include managing the full post‑sales process—onboarding, training, adoption, and relationship building—to ensure exceptional client experiences and drive product adoption. The consultant will gather requirements, configure, test, and launch systems while advising clients on industry best practices. Project timelines, risks, and issues are actively managed, and working sessions with client personnel are facilitated to deliver technology‑based solutions. Additional tasks may involve supporting varied sectors and coordinating implementation resources.
MRI Software is seeking a Functional Consultant to support implementations and software troubleshooting for MRI Angus clients. The role is hybrid, based in Cleveland, OH three days a week or Toronto, Canada two days twice a month.
Required qualifications include a degree in IT, Business, Finance, Math or Accounting (preferred) and 2‑3 years of business experience, ideally with commercial real estate SaaS exposure. Experience with Windows‑based web applications, Microsoft SQL Server, and basic SQL querying is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, problem‑solving, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are essential. The candidate must be confident in delivering training and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
