Description

• Stop work for unsafe conditions without fear of reprisal.
• Maintain safety documentation (DSA, TSR) per Conduct of Operations guidelines.
• Oversee support personnel to ensure ESH&Q and facility compliance.
• Identify and report potential occurrences or unusual conditions.
• Ensure housekeeping and combustible loading standards are met.
• Conduct process operations following approved programs, procedures, and ALARA principles.
• Operate as a Fissionable Material Handler, handling and moving fissionable material.
• Perform walkdowns and validations for new processes and procedures.
• Label system components according to procedure guidelines.
• Operate manlifts, forklifts, bridge crane, and execute rigging operations.
• Support Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles.

Requirements

The position requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with 4 years of DOE/Nuclear operations experience preferred, along with forklift, manlift, hoisting, and rigging experience. Candidates should be able to work in radiological contamination areas, possess basic communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and have the ability to learn ventilation, steam, air, and water system components. U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must pass a federal background investigation and be eligible for access to classified information.

The expected compensation range for this role is $44,000‑$73,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and location.
