As the senior lead for data, you’ll manage a talented in-house team and external partners, ensuring our platforms, reporting and analytics capability are robust, secure, and future-focused.

Shape the future of data and insight at A2Dominion

We’re looking for an Head of Data & BI to lead on the delivery of A2Dominion’s Data & BI Strategy. You’ll oversee governance, data quality, and analytics, building an operating model that enables the business to make better decisions through insight and innovation. You help us deliver our data Quality Action Plan in collaboration with the wider business to drive continual data quality improvements.

  • Analytics & Insight – Design, build and manage data platforms and reporting solutions, including dashboards, KPIs and wider regulatory returns; self-service tools for senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Data Strategy & Culture – Develop and implement a sustainable Data & BI Strategy, aligned with IT and business priorities, and embed a data-driven culture across the organisation.
  • Data Governance & Quality – Establish standards, principles and processes for data stewardship, ensuring compliance, classification, and quality monitoring are embedded.
  • Security & Compliance – Working closely with the Cyber Security team, ensure data security, regulatory compliance and access controls are rigorously maintained.
  • Leadership & Collaboration – Lead and inspire the Data & BI team, manage third-party partners, and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

DBS Level - Basic

  • Experience delivering large, cross-functional data projects in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate technical detail into clear business insight.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and influence at senior levels.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ITIL, CIOB, or data certifications) are desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role within the Public Sector is essential, with housing sector experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, data privacy best practice, and BI lifecycle processes.
  • Strong technical expertise with MS Azure Data Warehousing (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks), SQL, Power BI, and other visualisation tools.
  • Proven track record of leading complex data functions, including strategy, governance, quality, and analytics.
