The role involves collaborating with a cross‑functional set of stakeholders across the business to drive improvements in operational buyers' functions within the Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include communicating with schedulers for plan and execution updates, understanding material requirements, processing requisitions, and issuing purchase orders to suppliers. The individual works closely with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of material to the plant.
Key duties include executing exception messages such as postponements, anticipations, or cancellations, and managing internal escalations. The role monitors internal team KPIs, resolves discrepancies with operations, and addresses external supplier issues like delivery problems, claims, and quality concerns. It also evaluates supplier performance (SOTD), implements corrective actions, manages supplier invoicing and payments, maintains inventory levels, coordinates RMA and reverse logistics, and supports engineering change management.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of relevant materials planning/SCM experience, a graduate degree (master’s preferred) in Materials, Production, or Operations Management, and strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills for interaction with senior management and supply chain personnel.
