Work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday and finish at 12 pm on Fridays
Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmissions and differentials
Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaces parts
Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, ignition and electronic fuel injection
Work on unique Defence vehicle and assets
Inspect vehicles and issue road worthiness certificates
Carry out minor body repairs and minor trim repairs
Conduct Maintenance tasks, including technical inspection and classification

Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level

Demonstrated experience to inspect, repair and maintain Light, Medium and Heavy vehicles
