Provides reliable technical / process input on own initiative but able to determine when work should be escalated to a higher level.
Undertaking basic planning appraisals and research
Keeps up to date with current developments within own areas of expertise as well as gaining a wider knowledge of the company.
Review of Local Planning Authority (LPA) Local Plans and their stage of production.
Applies standard principles, practices, and techniques to follow established procedures.
Prepares letters, reports and others documents under supervision and/or from standard templates.
Preparation of fee proposals to generate new business.
Plans, schedules, and monitors own work within agreed deadlines.
Drafting planning applications, pre-application enquiries and appeals.
Operates within a defined area of work and provides support to their team as required.
Assisting with community engagement, committee meetings and public examinations.
Responsible for the completion of specifically assigned tasks to time and cost whilst working within established routines and principles.
Assisting clients throughout the planning process.
Liaises and assists other team members who are also developing.
Carries out site visits.
Communicating with all stakeholders involved in the planning process.
