The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key programs across engineering, licensing, and operations. This individual will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with Hadron Energy’s strategic and technical objectives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, regulatory, manufacturing, and finance—to coordinate schedules, budgets, deliverables, and communication. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader capable of balancing technical understanding with project management discipline in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Prepare and present status updates, reports, and key performance metrics for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Support strategic planning and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programs
- Manage change control, ensuring alignment between technical scope, design updates, and project baselines
- Track project progress, deliverables, and dependencies through standardized dashboards and documentation
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using modern project management tools
- Collaborate with engineering, licensing, and operations teams to align project objectives with company priorities
- Oversee vendor and contractor coordination to ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives are met
- Facilitate weekly and monthly progress reviews, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Support NRC licensing and DOE engagement activities by coordinating technical and regulatory deliverables
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparent communication across teams
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver technical and organizational milestones

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager, based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. The position is ideal for candidates with strong leadership, organizational, and technical backgrounds who are passionate about managing complex engineering and commercialization projects in the clean energy sector.
- Knowledge of engineering workflows, risk management, and QA/QC practices
- Proven track record of managing projects through the design, regulatory, and implementation phases
- 5–10 years of experience managing technical or infrastructure projects, ideally in energy, nuclear, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- Understanding of nuclear or highly regulated environments (NRC, DOE, ASME NQA-1) is a plus
- Ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, actionable plans
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration (PMP or equivalent certification preferred)
