📦 Developing a standardised “Engineer’s Kit” and overseeing stock control
⚠️ Working with HSQE to review RAMS in line with legal and company requirements
🔌 Organising annual PAT testing
🗂️ Maintaining accurate technical and project records
🏗️ Attending meetings, managing site issues, and advising engineers
📊 Supporting workload planning, resource allocation, and site progress tracking
🧰 Ensuring engineers’ tools are calibrated, safe, and tracked correctly
✨ Coordinating day-to-day technical activities for installations, refurbishments, and major service works
🤝 Acting as a central link between engineers, clients, suppliers, and contractors
🛠️ Assisting with installation or service activities when needed
As a key technical specialist, you’ll bring together engineering know-how and operational coordination to ensure our platform lift projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll support engineers, clients, and our wider operations team — becoming the go-to expert for all things technical.
🛡️ Monitoring compliance with H&S legislation and quality standards
📐 Reviewing specs, surveys, and drawings to support project planning
💡 Providing technical guidance and responding to client queries

Are you an experienced lift engineer looking to step into a role that blends hands-on expertise with operational leadership? Do you reside in the Midlands UK area, have eligibility to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence? Do you want to be at the heart of delivering safe, high-quality platform lift projects? 🚗 Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with platform lifts
🌟 IOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS certification
✔️ Ability to assess RAMS and site H&S procedures
🌟 Previous supervisory or deputy experience in lift engineering or construction
🔍 Completing at least two monthly audits (HSQE & Technical)
🌟 Experience coordinating subcontractors and working on active construction sites
✔️ Organised, clear communicator, able to manage multiple projects
💻 Confident IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, digital reporting tools)
✔️ Proven engineering background with relevant lift industry qualifications (e.g., NVQ Lift Engineering)
