The position involves structural design of low‑rise buildings, concrete tanks, vessels, marine bulkheads, and other miscellaneous structures. It also includes developing construction drawings and design specifications for public bidding and collaborating with engineering and architecture disciplines throughout planning, design, and construction administration phases.
Additional duties include inspecting and analyzing existing structures. The role also involves preparing client correspondence and reports, as well as monitoring project budgets.
Candidates must hold a BS in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering and have 2‑4 years of relevant experience, with EIT preferred. Proficiency in ETABS and STAAD is desired, along with strong communication, interpersonal, Microsoft Word, and Excel skills, and a motivated, self‑starting attitude.
The salary range for this role is $72,500 – $85,000 annually, with adjustments based on experience, specialty, education, and other factors. Compensation does not include additional forms of benefits or bonuses.
