Description

The Plastic Manufacturing Technician is tasked with packaging, labeling, and visually inspecting all products produced on a specific production line. This role also supports line operators during start‑ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers, working closely to achieve established production targets. Flexibility is required, as the schedule may exceed 40 hours per week and include weekend work.

• Conduct final visual inspections and label all finished goods.
• Track production quantities to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe according to standard operating procedures for customer delivery.
• Maintain safety by consistently using personal protective equipment.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start‑ups, shutdowns and downstream equipment setup.
• Stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement and facility housekeeping.
• Participate in ADS training programs to build job skills and earning potential.
• Perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for 8‑12 hour shifts.

Requirements

Ideal candidates are self‑motivated, energetic, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting. They should be dependable, team‑oriented, and possess basic mathematical abilities. Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred, though the ability to quickly learn new skills is essential.
