The Plastic Manufacturing Technician is tasked with packaging, labeling, and visually inspecting all products produced on a specific production line. This role also supports line operators during start‑ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers, working closely to achieve established production targets. Flexibility is required, as the schedule may exceed 40 hours per week and include weekend work.
Ideal candidates are self‑motivated, energetic, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting. They should be dependable, team‑oriented, and possess basic mathematical abilities. Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred, though the ability to quickly learn new skills is essential.
Safety is a core value at ADS, and the technician is expected to maintain a safe work environment by consistently using personal protective equipment. Continuous improvement is encouraged, both on the production line and in overall facility housekeeping. Employees are offered training programs to develop new skills and enhance earning potential.
The position demands physical stamina, requiring the ability to stand, move, and handle materials throughout an 8‑12 hour shift, as well as perform motions such as twisting, bending, and lifting.
