Engineer

Manage the coating plant activities, resources and execution of the coating work

• Coordinate work activities, assign tasks, and establish communication channels
• Coordinate project activities with the Engineering department, clients, and sub-contractors as required
• Control and optimize the utilization of materials and resources within the area of responsibility
• Responsible for a few functions on small-sized projects or for a single function on medium-sized projects
• Compile project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, and engineering documents for approval and issuance
• Prepare and issue work packages for various activities
• Oversee equipment and personnel availability to ensure smooth project execution
• Plan, coordinate and monitor different phases of activities related to pipe coating, such as receiving of coating material, bare pipes, stacking/unstacking of bare & coated pipes, load out of coatedd pipes, anode installation, fabrication of spools, etc.
• Ensure the work is executed in compliance with approved project documents and as per the allocated budget and time frame
• Review mobilization plans to clarify and understand relevant contract requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline or equivalent
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Minimum 06 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Good report writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Supervisory potential
