- Support and coordinate as needed quality responses to customer Requests for Information and other marketing related activities.
- Provide direction and coordinate project related activities through quality leads, supervisors, and managers.
- Planning/organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, organizes personal and project timelines and deadlines, tracks project timelines and deadlines, and uses time efficiently.
- Proactively identify and achieve resolution of project issues and anticipated challenges, including escalation of issues within the NuScale organization when necessary.

- Support project risk assessment and risk mitigation activities.
- Team Building: Develops strong interpersonal networks and trust within the organization. Leads consensus by involving all stakeholders, facilitating their understanding of differences, agreeing on requirements and constraints, and developing the best solution.
- Manage first-of-a-kind issues and adapt to a constantly shifting business development environment; interface as needed with planners and other personnel to ensure that quality activities for a given project are accurately represented and accounted for in work management plans.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures needed for the efficient execution of quality project activities.
- Effective development of quality requirements traceability matrix and incorporation of said matrix into project activities as applicable, and appropriate.
- Quality Assurance: Commits to the understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards, and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
- Interact with project team and management from multiple companies to manage cross-functional quality interfaces.

- Prior commercial nuclear experience
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Division 1
- Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend and understand new concepts quickly, and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment.

- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance with a broad range of responsibilities. Must be familiar with ASME NQA-1 / 10 CFR 50 Appendix B / 10 CFR 21. Previous experience includes working as quality lead for large, complex projects, and developing requirement traceability matrices. Must demonstrate strong technical writing skills as well as good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills. Required to have exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple work phases. Additional experience in the following areas is highly desired:
- Dependability: Consistently on time and at work, responds to management expectations and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
- Safety Culture: Adheres to the NuScale Safety culture and is expected to model safe behavior and influence peers to meet high standards.
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other international quality standards and regulations
- Problem solving: Decisive with good judgment. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and reviews information appropriately. Uses own judgment and acts independently; seeks input from other team members as appropriate for complex or sensitive situations.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally using common forms of transportation.
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers.
