Ensures strict compliance with HSE rules, PTW systems, and site safety procedures. Participates in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensures corrective actions are implemented at site. Stops unsafe acts and conditions and reports incidents as per project procedures.
Responsible for identifying work fronts, manpower deployment, tools and equipment readiness, and material availability prior to job execution. Coordinates closely with Construction Supervisors, HSE, QA/QC, and Material teams to ensure smooth execution without delays or rework.
Reports daily progress, manpower, equipment utilization, and issues to the Mechanical Supervisor. Assists in planning, shutdown activities, hydrotest preparation, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion activities as assigned.
The Job Performer – Mechanical is responsible for executing and supervising assigned mechanical construction activities at site in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications, and HSE requirements. The role ensures that mechanical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with ADNOC and Ruwais LNG standards.
Maintains proper documentation such as daily reports, work permits, inspection requests, and handover documents in line with project requirements.
The position coordinates daily mechanical activities including piping installation, static and rotating equipment installation, steel structures, supports, valves, and associated mechanical works. Ensures work is performed as per approved IFC drawings, work permits, job safety analysis (JSA), and construction schedules.
Supports QA/QC activities including inspections, ITP implementation, punch list clearance, and resolution of NCRs related to mechanical works. Ensures proper workmanship and adherence to project quality standards.
Good understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction procedures.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction works within EPC Oil & Gas / LNG / Petrochemical plant projects.
Experience working on ADNOC or Middle East LNG projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HSE practices, PTW systems, and safe work execution.
Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and site teams.
Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge for reporting.
Hands-on experience in piping, equipment installation, structural supports, and mechanical erection activities.
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
