The engineer will undertake electrical design to local and international standards, perform calculations using tools such as Dialux, Amtech, Relux and Specsizer, and develop schematics with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360 or Bentley. Design elements include LV distribution, earthing and bonding, lighting, cable management and building power, while coordinating closely with MEP, architecture, civil and structural disciplines to ensure integrated, buildable solutions.
- Design and coordinate electrical systems for UK, Canadian, and Middle Eastern projects
- Perform electrical calculations using Dialux, Amtech, Relux, and Specsizer
- Create schematics and models with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360 or Bentley
- Design LV distribution, earthing & bonding, lighting, cable management, and building power
- Collaborate with MEP, architecture, civil, and structural teams for integrated solutions
- Prepare design reports, specifications, and respond to technical queries
- Adapt designs to local codes and climatic conditions for multi‑region projects
- Present design solutions to clients and contractors

Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and have 0‑3 years of experience in building services within a consultancy environment. Familiarity with CIBSE, BS 7671, BS 50122, BS 5266 and BS 5839 standards is required, and membership of IET or CIBSE and progression toward CEng/IEng status is preferred.
