Act as first level of escalation for operational challenges for other WHTM
Support and participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts
Depending on assigned department employee may be required to perform tasks in the shipping, receiving, inventory, small, or large tools operations
Work with leadership to effectively and efficiently resource plan for day-to-day activities
Responsible for adhering to all processes with little to no supervision
Conduct or coordinate the on-process training, including line orientation and risk review, of all new team members or those transferring into the area
Safely load, transfer, and unload palatized and non-palatized materials using assigned equipment
Responsible for collaborating on designing and implementing standard processes within assigned work area
Perform basic and complex transactions in SAP as well as troubleshoot and resolve most SAP errors to maintain accurate and timely inventory data

Experience in operating a forklift and reach truck preferred
Experience working within SAP preferred
Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work off of step stools and ladders
Ability to learn and interpret the instructions and translate that in to work
Ability to read, interpret process documents
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Regular & reliable attendance in adherence to the outline attendance policy
Strong attention to detail & ability to follow directions with precise execution
Experience leading small teams preferred
1 -2 years of experience, minimum, in working in general warehouse, distribution center, or production environment
Must be able to see and hear alarms, timers and follow verbal instructions. In some cases color differentiation may be required
Ability to adapt to a changing environment, consistently demonstrating Vestas Core Values
Beginner level understanding of Microsoft office preferred
Weight restriction: Able to Lift/push/pull/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to constantly grip and manually manipulate, often with repetitive motion, items such as, but not limited to, hand tools and turbine parts
Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team
Able to safely operate all equipment according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Basic computer literacy
Internally certified to inspect rigging material
Ability to read, interpret & understand basic drawings & schematics a plus
Ability to frequently walk, stand, look up/down, balance, stoop, twist, kneel, and bend
Working knowledge of stock control, inventory management practices and procedures preferred
