- Assist with biennial and interim bridge inspections across the region.
- Support a Team Leader or Quality Control Engineer under their supervision.
- Perform hybrid field and office tasks, including data review and project scheduling.
- Monitor and review inventory, inspection, and load‑rating data.
- Manage mobilization, demobilization, and BIN folder preparation.
- Review flagged bridge data and contribute to field reviews.
- Provide additional inspection support on large or unusual structures.
- Participate in team reviews and field assessments with the Quality Control Engineer.

Popli Design Group (PDG), a multi‑disciplined architecture and engineering firm, is seeking an Entry Level Bridge Inspection Trainee. Successful completion of the trainee program prepares the candidate for a full‑time Assistant Team Leader role in bridge inspection.
Candidates must hold an AAS degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a closely related field, or have 18 months of verifiable bridge experience in design, construction, inspection, or related work. A combination of education and experience will also be considered, while BS and MS degrees are not eligible.
Key qualities for success include a strong work ethic, clear communication, the ability to take direction, physical capability to climb ladders and carry inspection equipment, no fear of heights, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
