Work alongside junior and senior level engineers to execute project deadlines.
Performs mathematical calculations and field checking of field data.
Reduce field notes from field collected data into survey/civil grade base maps.
Work with more senior staff to produce ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, Specific Purpose Surveys, Plot plans and Subdivision Record Plats by using Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD).
Cut and remove brush and undergrowth for line of sight.
May also perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and AutoCAD.
Transform field collected electronic files into Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD) produced drawings.
Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in their respective discipline.
Will also work in the field on control, topographic surveys, and pipeline surveys as Instrument Man of a one, two or three-person field crew.

Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred.
Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, CADD, Engineering Technologies, or Civil Engineering.
Possess solid problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
Reads and understands plans and specifications.
Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to carry up to forty pounds of equipment up flights of stairs.
Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
Must have reliable transportation to the office/field.
