  • Monitor transactional activity and facilitate communication within the tax department.
  • Prepare REIT compliance testing and related surveys.
  • Research federal, state, and local income tax issues and assess the impact of legislative changes.
  • Support department leadership in identifying process improvements, driving efficiency, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Partner with external advisors on technical and planning matters.
  • Track and maintain intercompany agreements, including associated forecasting.
  • Maintain and analyze the rent projection model for the senior housing portfolio.
  • Coordinate with legal, accounting, and tax teams to prepare documentation related to tax structuring and planning.
  • Prepare tax projections to support planning and compliance requirements.
  • Support transfer pricing studies and related documentation.
  • Assist with international tax matters, including distribution tax withholding.
