General Manager – Cranes & Heavy Equipment

• Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and operational KPIs for the division.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, rental clients, and service providers to maximize profitability.
• Oversee fleet management including acquisition, allocation, utilization, and lifecycle planning of cranes and heavy machinery.
• Provide overall leadership and management of the cranes and heavy equipment division, including operations, sales, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Develop and implement business strategies to expand market share, grow revenue, and maintain competitive positioning.
• Supervise and mentor department heads, engineers, supervisors, and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of technical and operational staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.), and industry standards.

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager – Cranes & Heavy Equipment to lead and oversee our cranes and heavy equipment division. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in tower cranes, mobile cranes, hoists, and related heavy lifting machinery, combined with strong leadership and business acumen. This role requires strategic direction, operational management, and market expansion to ensure profitability, safety, and excellence in service delivery.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in cranes and heavy equipment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general management role.
• Extensive knowledge of tower cranes, mobile cranes, hoists, heavy lifting operations, and fleet management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of local authority regulations, certifications, and compliance processes in the UAE construction industry.
• Proven track record in business development, P&L management, and strategic planning.
• Strong network within the construction, contracting, and real estate development sectors.
• Ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining profitability and growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
