Tasks

-Optimising database systems by recommending solutions for configuring information systems, managing data migration from legacy systems, and designing conceptual and logical database models. -Ensuring data integrity and quality by establishing and enforcing data governance frameworks, quality standards, and validation protocols to maintain consistent, accurate, and reliable enterprise data. -Designing scalable data architectures by developing and implementing secure, enterprise-wide models and integration strategies that align with SSA business strategies and technical requirements. -Maintaining compliance and security by implementing data security policies and ensuring adherence to data privacy laws and industry regulations through effective controls and audits. -Standardising data models and metadata by developing and maintaining logical and physical data models and implementing metadata management practices to enhance clarity and reusability.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders -Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures including data warehousing solutions and real-time data pipelines -Cloud Certification such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect would be highly desirable -In-depth knowledge of data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, and data integration -Proficient in SQL, ELT processes and big data framework -Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Data Science or Information Technology, or working towards
