Files and resolves Logistics Service Provider claims
Prepares logistics studies including site and Logistics Service Provider facility visits
Assists Project Logistics Lead to develop logistics costs, job hour requirements and reports for project or functional budget formation and management.
Prepares logistics reports or performance metrics as required to satisfy project information requirements
Ensures audit and processing of Logistics Service Provider invoices in accordance with project procedures
Coordinates shipments with requisite internal and external entities
Assists the project Logistics Lead as requested with capacity to provider short-term leadership
Identifies transport cost and service alternatives to support materials/equipment purchase decisions and use of Logistics Service Providers
Performs work as a Logistics technical, estimating and commercial role supporting a moderate/large sized project with complex scope as a deployed, dedicated resource in the home office.
Prepares Logistics Service Provider (LSP) commercial packages, including Request for Quotation (RFQ), commercial and technical analysis/evaluation, bid tabs, commitment authorizations and contract documents. Also contract administration of LSP packages.
Integrates safety requirements and measures in all logistics activities.
Ensures entry of shipment tracking data into Transportation Management System (TMS) and other functional systems/tools to provide visibility shipment status
Interacts with project management to review logistics strategies in consideration of cost, risk, and schedule assessments

Experience with medium to large scale projects highly regarded.
Knowledge of and experience in multimodal transport modes – airfreight, sea freight; containerized, LCL, breakbulk, barging, and domestic transportation – including oversize/over mass.
Commercial and contractual acumen
Home, Field and deployed project experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications – Outlook, Teams, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
Chain of Responsibility (CoR)/ Transport Assurance proficient knowledge-Certification preferred.
Knowledge of Australia (country) importing and exporting formalities and processes.
Knowledge of domestic and international trade and delivery terms,
Proficient in speaking and writing English
Knowledge of industry packing, making, and shipping requirements
Knowledge of and experience in marine conveyance chartering
Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience or 12 to 14 years of relevant work experience.
