The role involves conducting options investigations, feasibility studies and reporting for a wide range of complex projects, including water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids and odour treatment facilities, as well as leading the design and delivery of treatment plant projects from concept through detailed design.
Additional responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary design teams to ensure constructability and budget compliance, engaging with clients to exceed expectations, building and maintaining client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers.

Candidates should hold a tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering and have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the water and wastewater industry, with wastewater treatment design and modelling being advantageous. Strong interpersonal and consulting skills, a proactive attitude and the ability to lead and contribute to a vibrant team are essential.
