Lead the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage and utilities, and earthworks for site development works on large industrial projects.
Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.
Manage the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard.
Proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management team, contractors and Clients.
Carry out periodic inspections of the works on site for quality and BCAR purposes.

Experienced in the inspection of civil engineering works on site and the completion of BCAR reports.
Minimum 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the detailed design of large industrial projects in the pharmaceutical, data centre or oil & gas sectors. This includes the design of process drainage and the coordination of complex underground utilities.
Thorough understanding of civil engineering design standards
Confident in creating and delivering engineering presentations to Clients
Proficient with the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and AutoTRACK. Additional experience in the use of Revit would be an advantage.
Degree in Civil Engineering. Masters would be an advantage.
Effective communicator with excellent oral and report writing skills
Ability to adapt to changing scenarios
Chartered with Engineers Ireland or similar body
