Intern supports CMMS PI system data governance and smart grid initiatives.

Tasks

-Responsible for PI data management which includes administration, maintenance, testing, and reporting. -Create thousands of data points, maintain large sets of data, and modify points. -Collect, summarize, and analyze various operational, non-operational time-series data for electric inside and outside plant assets.

What You Bring

-Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026. -3.0 GPA or above. -Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. -PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. -Incumbents must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. -Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly -Must be detailed oriented and have experience working with large data sets. -Experience with any of the following programs: Microsoft Office, Visio, and SQL. -Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required. -Majoring in Engineering (Any Discipline), IT (Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Systems), or Business Administration. -PowerBI or data visualization tools. -Compliance with the Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required. -The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
