Janitorial Supervisor

Description

The Janitorial Supervisor oversees employees on a designated account or shift, ensuring productivity levels and customer service requirements are met. The role involves a standing and driving post with constant patrolling of the warehouse.

• Assist in training the cleaning team.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report work orders for maintenance.
• Ensure job quality, confirm completion with manager, and inspect supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
• Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
• Maintain daily shift reports for managers.
• Perform basic administrative, payroll, and attendance functions as needed.
• Communicate with account managers to monitor and maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Provide technical guidance, interpret policies, and assist front‑line employees with tasks.
• Finalize shift schedules (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
• Collaborate with leadership to cover all callouts.
• Adjust staffing levels according to client requests.
• Administer the No‑Fault Attendance Policy.

Requirements

• Complete order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess at least two years of Janitorial Supervisor experience.
• Proven ability to manage a large team or staff.

Benefits

The position offers two shift options: Sunday‑Wednesday 7 am‑5:30 pm or Wednesday‑Saturday 7 am‑5:30 pm, with a base pay of $20.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on education, experience, skills, location, and market data, and eligible employees may participate in a company incentive or bonus program.
