Description

• Set up and operate paint/coating machines.
• Paint components to customer specifications.
• Load and move materials to the work area.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance on the powder system.
• Adjust powder equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot powder system and quality issues.
• Perform inventory transactions per work instructions.
• Maintain a clean work area and collaborate with the paint department team.
• Wear a respirator and stand for 8‑9 hours daily.
• Read and follow work orders, safety policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Our growing company is seeking to hire a Painter (Powder). As an employee at MEC, you will be responsible for using paint tools to paint surfaces, parts, and products for our customers. The painter will employ a variety of techniques to ensure all parts are sprayed and coated to customer specifications.

Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to wear a respirator, stand 8‑9 hours each day, and be capable of bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lb regularly. They should also be able to understand work orders, follow MEC safety policies and procedures, and work effectively as part of a team.
