We are looking for a Tool Crib Attendant to manage and maintain the tool crib at our Smyrna, TN plant. The role ensures tools and equipment are organized, accessible, and in good working condition. The schedule is Sunday‑Thursday, third shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
The attendant receives and catalogs incoming tools, keeps the crib area clean, and maintains accurate inventory records. They monitor stock levels, reorder supplies, perform routine maintenance, and support employees with tool selection while ensuring safety and compliance.
The position requires strong organizational and multitasking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication. Candidates must be comfortable working independently or in a team, have solid knowledge of industry tools, be able to lift heavy objects, and be familiar with office equipment, scanning tools, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel and AS400.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least one year of manufacturing experience. Experience with tool crib management systems is a plus.
The job involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and standing, walking, reaching, as well as occasional climbing, driving, and equipment operation. Employees must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
