Produce the monthly traffic operations related performance reports for RMC and Tunnels operations ensuring the deadlines and quality standards are met
Lead the data and process analysis activities to develop and deliver a traffic engineering improvements plan that details SCATS traffic signal management improvements and incident and event management improvements
Deliver the analysis and response to any customer complaints relating to Traffic Signal timing and performance, ensuring responses and actions are performed within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timings. Lead the root cause analysis of traffic signal and corridor performance related complaints
Close management of the subcontractors that are providing the SCATS and traffic engineering support for RMC and Tunnels to ensure on-road performance is optimized and aligned with the performance measures being implemented for corridor performance and incident management
Deliver the traffic response plan preparation for special events and the necessary configuration of the traffic management systems to support the response plans.
Support special event coordination with key stakeholders such as Ministry of Interior, Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and the Ministry of Transport
Coordinate the update of SCATS controller personality change requests and perform the necessary quality review
Pro-active review of corridor performance, performing micro- and macro-simulation modelling where required and tracking and refining the resulting changes
Analyze the configuration and effectiveness of existing traffic management response plans and develop and deliver a program of improvements, delivering traffic simulation modelling, data analysis and traffic engineering activities accordingly
Prepare ad-hoc major incident and special event reporting and lead the lessons learned and best practice assessments for such reports

Experience with delivering management level reporting and meeting contractual deadlines
Experience with leading root cause traffic analysis studies and implementing results
Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on building and nurturing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams (internal and subcontractors) and communicate traffic planning and management concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive and adaptable approach to managing change in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise with Traffic Modelling systems and Data Analysis tools.
Experience in leading traffic optimization studies and major event traffic management planning
Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Computer Science or similar
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Transportation Planning and Management space with a proven track record in delivering traffic modelling and traffic engineering analysis studies and reports, ideally in the Middle East region
Expertise with Business Intelligence tools and scripts to perform detailed data analysis.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
