Phase II Department and Technical Lead

Coordinate with clients to recommend and deliver a desired outcome;

Bid and prepare project proposals;

Coordinate with regulatory agencies to drive mutually agreeable project closure;

Review technical documents to prepare remediation cost estimates for client reliance.

Provide internal technical review of proposals, work plans, and reports;

Procure work for Engineering & Consulting services team;

Mentor, coach, and develop team members;

Provide department leadership, including establishing goals, managing staff, and managing department budgets;

Prepare detailed plans and reports for clients and/or regulatory agencies;

Track changes in existing regulatory rules;

Assist in overall strategic vision and growth of the Engineering & Consulting services department;

Senior review of all department deliverables;

Manage subcontractors, as needed;

Senior review of PM proposals, work plans, and reports;

Attend industry events and develop new clients;

Design and implement remedial solutions;

Manage project schedules, job costs, invoicing, and collections;

Current Hazwoper (40-hour plus annual updates);

Ability to travel locally to various work sites in designated multi-state territory (5-20%);

Minimum 10-15 years of project management and regulatory consulting, required;

Experience with regulatory agency interface, required;

Strong understanding of State and USEPA Regulatory Programs. Specifically, extensive experience managing Illinois Tiered Approach to Corrective Action Objectives (TACO) and Missouri Risk-Based Corrective Action (MRBCA) Projects under both voluntary and tank regulatory programs, required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Minimum 10-15 years of technical field experience required;

Geology (RG/PG) and/or Engineering (PE) License in Missouri and Illinois required;

$125,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on level of experience
