The purpose of this position is to oversee the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) function to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize HSE related problems. These problems include prevention of human injury, environmental degradation and unsafe working conditions or practices, addressed through training, programs, and processes with an uncompromised commitment to protecting the environment and employee productivity.
- Assist with development of Company HSE standards and goals
- Develop materials for HSE training, programs and processes
- Guide implementation of HSE functions including auditing, training, incident investigation, and compliance with policies
- Lead teams of HSE professionals, including globally diverse teams on projects
- Manage HSE direction on large, complex TIC projects, approving plans and contractor pre‑qualifications
- Liaise with company, clients, insurers, and regulators to resolve audits and HSE issues
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
- Maintain ongoing HSE education and stay current with regulations and technologies
- Represent the company to external HSE organizations
- Complete less complex or smaller projects successfully
- Deliver effective presentations and public speaking

- Hold an accredited four‑year degree and 16 years of experience, or equivalent 20 years without degree
- Possess necessary technical knowledge for the role
- Apply knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal statutes
- Pay attention to detail and work efficiently
- Proof of U.S. citizenship required
- Exhibit high interpretive thinking and mature judgment
- Demonstrate capability to run the HSE function on medium to large projects
- Advanced computer skills: word processing, email, spreadsheets, presentations, databases
- Show strong critical thinking and reasoning ability
- Possess strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Hold a valid driver’s license if required
