Provides leadership and overall management of the Service Department to ensure efficient and productive operations while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Possesses a solid understanding of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and delivers excellent customer service. May perform other related duties as assigned.
Requires a minimum high school diploma, a two‑year college degree or equivalent management experience. Must have clear knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and be computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; DBS knowledge is preferred. Must write professional business communications, be self‑starter, well‑organized, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent customer service skills are essential, and the role requires the ability to lift 75 lb, bend, twist, climb, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
The position works both in an office and an equipment shop. Office duties involve desk work, phone calls, and email communication, while the shop environment has moderate to high noise. Safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, and hard hats may be required. Continuous walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lb are expected, and flexible scheduling and occasional travel are necessary. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Working hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, with availability on Saturdays and overtime as needed.
