Work closely with project managers, field personnel, and vendors to ensure technical accuracy and safety compliance
Prepare engineering deliverables such as datasheets, reports, and drawing reviews
Follows prescribed procedures and conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations
Participate in inspections, failure analysis, and reliability improvements of mechanical systems
Assist in project execution, from feasibility and front-end engineering to construction support and commissioning
Support the design, specification, and analysis of electrical systems, including substations, MW switchgear, LV Motor control centers, load analysis, and instrumentation that supports rotating equipment
Perform calculations, material selection, and electrical integrity assessments

The employee is regularly required to use hands to type, touch, handle, or feel. The employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This role will be up to 80% travel
Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
0 to 5 years of mechanical engineering experience (internships or co-ops in oil & gas are a plus)
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
Working knowledge of CAD and engineering analysis tools (voltage drop, conduit fill, ohms law, and general electrical engineering calculations)
Will work non-traditional hours as needed
Knowledge of basic Engineering principles
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
Ability to work in both office and field environments as needed
Required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
Root cause analysis or mechanical integrity experience
Experience with pump or compressor station design
Works under direct supervision but displays initiative and moves toward requiring less supervision.
Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
This role will travel up to 80%.
Exposure to midstream project work or operations support

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution in Engineering or a related field.
