Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a data center.

Tasks

-Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness. -Install OSP cables through conduits and maintenance -Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment. -Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. -Cut and install threaded rod -Install ISP/OSP into cable enclosures (OSE) -Install and Service Network Equipment -Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work. -Cut and install fiber trough -Pull all types of low voltage cable including copper telecom cable -Install ISP cables through conduits, in ceilings, -Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. -Cut and install Uni-strut -Install ladder racking and seismic bracing -Patch network equipment -Perform 4 pair continuity testing -Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians. -Performing all types of copper field terminations -Create/test Bonding whips, straps, and connections -Install and test coax cabling (series 6 & 11) -Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles. -Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. -Install box eliminators (mud rings) in drywall -Affixing Labels to cabling and Power Cords -Install Copper and Fiber Cabling and labeling -Install pull strings through conduits, in ceilings

What You Bring

-Affix bar coding to equipment -Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies. -Understanding/Usage of fiber types (SM/MM/Ribbon) -Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools. -Read and Understand Port Maps/Matrices -Read and understand job floor plan and TC drawings -Cleared understanding of job safety requirements. -Must understand customer service. -Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling. -Understand the basics of "FIM" and operate scanner -Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring test.
