Accounting Coordinator - One Year Contract

Description

• Support the team to collect statutory declarations and workers compensation board clearance letters on a monthly basis.
• Assist with efficiently tracking business licenses;
• Deposit and ensure accurate entry of cheques/eft receivables;
• Assist in compiling audit documentation and coding invoices;
• Conduct thorough reviews of AP/AR aging for projects, proactively identifying overdue invoices;

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or certification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
• At least one to two (1-2) years of experience in accounting, administration, bookkeeping or a related field;
• Excellent business communication skills, with both verbal and written communications;
• Proficient at working in a digital and paper-free environment;
• Experience with Acumatica ERP or Sage/Timberline systems will be considered an asset.
